In a way, this emergence came through the Danny Granger injury. I think Paul George still develops as a player, but does he make that leap as much as he did?  So in a way, the Granger injury was a blessing in disguise, and the Pacers look to George as a real centerpiece now to the team.

This All Star game should be a good way for him to show off his flash since these games open that up.  George was part of the Slam Dunk competition last year, but now he’ll get that stage to show off his skills in real game action.  Sure it’s just an exhibition game that no one plays hard in unless the game is close, but I think we’ll get a highlight from George at least once during the game.

Proud to be a Pacers fan and kudos for Paul George to put together such a good month and a half of action. If he can continue at this pace, the Pacers will be such a better team.  He’ll get even more praise heaped upon him, and it should be well deserved for a guy who came into the league as a relative unknown.  Larry Bird saw something in him to draft him with the tenth pick, and now everyone is seeing that.
