In this edition of Snack Time with Stephen, I’ll look back at last night’s win over the Los Angeles Clippers and look ahead to the month of December. 13 games in the month of December for the Blue and Gold. A couple of national television appearances. This western road trip. Some meetings with the Miami Heat. Two games with the Brooklyn Nets are featured this month. It should be a month where the Pacers can continue to roll again and show the NBA what they are made of.
I look at this month and I can foresee double figure wins again for the month. This western swing could produce 3 or 4 wins, which I believe is a most successful trip. Then you can split the meetings with the Miami Heat as I can see the Pacers winning at home and losing down there in Miami. Those games are just a week apart, so plenty of chances to take your shot at Miami. Some games peppered in there are Charlotte, Detriot, and Cleveland to finish out the month, which I believe should be all wins. Those are important games in the division, so getting wins against Cleveland and Detroit can help pad that divisional lead, which is already at a comfy 8 games.
With such a successful month of November, I expect the Pacers to keep that momentum going. They can still improve on the offensive end, so if they can get better on the end, while keeping the defensive side so solid, just think how many wins this team can achieve by the end of the season.
The schedule might be tough for this week, but there will be some gaps after this week, where the Pacers can buckle down in practice and get the offense to where it should be. An important month for the team to build upon what’s been working well the first month of the season.
