Here’s the final list of guys that have worked out with the Pacers during this draft process. I’ll bold the names that stick out in my mind as good possibilities for the Pacers to draft with their 26th pick in the first round.
I think for the Pacers they need to add some size, so I’ve picked a few of the center/forward type players. A guy like Fab Melo is young, but I feel like he could come in and perform as the backup to Roy Hibbert eventually this season.
I like the way Draymond Green could do it all at Michigan State, so that would be useful here in Indiana.
Evan Fournier is a guy who can create his own shot and works well in transition, which is something the Pacers could use to their advantage.
I just look at the Pacers drafting a guy that probably won’t see that much playing time in his first year or two, so being a dependable and reliable backup is great.
Who would you like to see the Indiana Pacers draft in the first round?
