(Heat Lead Series 2-0)
Well the Oklahoma City Thunder could give the Boston Celtics some glimmer of hope as they San Antonio Spurs” href=”http://alwaysmillertime.com/2012/06/01/oklahoma-city-thunder-put-the-brakes-on-san-antonio-spurs/”>beat up the San Antonio Spurs last night by 20. But then again, only 14 teams have come back from 0-2 deficits and the Celtics haven’t done that since 1969, so maybe hope is gone. I am just a contradiction of sorts with this beginning. But I don’t think the Celtics can really put it together against the Heat.
Just like the last game, they might give everything they have, and still come up short. Lebron James and Dwayne Wade are playing as well together as they ever have been, and it’s going to be tough to stop those two. Those guys are just carrying the Heat to victories themselves. It’s going to take another gigantic effiort from Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and even Ray Allen to get the Celtics the win tonight.
Surprisingly enough, the Celtics are favored and that sounds like the home cooking is the reason why. They’re playing at home, where it’s always tough to play as Boston fans are so passionate about their teams. They are coming off that tough loss, and should be hungry from the start in this game.
But I think the Heat are better at this point, and win this one by about 5 or 6 points. Wade and James lead the way as usual. The Celtics go down 0-3 and will probably be finished off soon enough.
