(Heat Lead Series 1-0)
I think we’ll learn a lot about this series with game two tonight. In game one, the Heat hit that lull in the second quarter and still won going away, which says how good this team can be when playing on the same page.
Lebron James and Dwayne Wade have been ridiculous since game four of the series with the Pacers. In that game, they went on some 30 or so point spree, where they were the only guys scoring and the Pacers couldn’t do anything. Is this Boston Celtics team that much better than the Pacers that they can stop James and Wade? If game one was any indication, the answer is no as Wade and James combined for 54 points of the Heat’s 93 points. That’s doing some work.
The Celtics will have to figure out something tonight or else this game and series could get away from them just as quickly as the Western Conference Finals are getting away. They could look to get Kevin Garnett as many looks as possible because that could be an advantage for them. Rajon Rondo needs to be as aggressive as possible. Paul Pierce needs to be the old Paul Pierce and get some scoring for the Celtics to have a shot.
With as well as the Heat are playing, I think they win this game two by double figures and they can put away this series quickly. Their goal is to win the NBA championship, and this is just another win closer to that.
