I almost feel like this is deja vu, as the same three teams that had a chance to close out Tuesday night have a chance to close out tonight. I’m flopping one of my picks from Tuesday night, but feel the same about the other two.
Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia Sixers
(Sixers Lead 3-2)
The Bulls finally got it right on Tuesday night as they held off being eliminated, and now face the Sixers in Philly. Maybe the home court can propel the Sixers past the Bulls. But now I’m believing the Bulls know what they have to do to beat the Sixers, and this one goes to game 7, where the Bulls should pull it off as well. They’re not the top seed in the East for nothing.
(Celtics Lead 3-2)
Let’s put it this way, I’d hate to be the Celtics if they can’t put away the Hawks in Boston tonight. You know how that area is about their teams and what they do if they falter, ask Bill Buckner. Now this might not be anywhere near that level, but I think the fans would be eating this team alive if they’re not able to come through tonight. And if they end up losing the series in Atlanta in game 7. So Celtics should win tonight and probably win comfortably.
(Lakers Lead 3-2)
The Nuggets have won the past two, and look to be forcing a game seven, but I just see the Lakers putting it together to close out the series. Even if Kobe Bryant doesn’t play, which I suspect if he’s not dead, he’s playing.
