The Indiana Pacers look to get revenge on the Milwaukee Bucks tonight on the road. They had the game throughout three quarters, but lost it all in the fourth when they last faced Milwaukee. They lost by a few points, and at home. Now they look to get revenge as Indy hopes to improve to 10-9 while the Bucks fall to 7-14. Jonny Flynn will be returning next week, which means that the Minnesota Timberwolves look to move one point guard so they can have a limit at four. Luke Ridinour will stay, but whoever will be on the move will either be Sebastian Telfair or Sundiata Gaines. But if Flynn plays really good, coach Kurt Rambis considers only having two point guards. “We have to see what the best two-guard situation is for us,” Rambis said. Brandon Rush had a huge game, leading the Indiana Pacers with 26 points. Rush is clicking, and so is the rest of the Indiana Pacers squad as all contributed well to the team’s rout of the Toronto Raptors, 124-100. We have all heard about the lockout rumors. The NBA could be heading into one as well as another major league, the NFL. When I was watching the Heat-Cavs in the fourth quarter, I realized how much Cleveland really does care about their basketball team. Either that, or they really, really hate LeBron. Nevertheless, even though they were down by around 30 in the second half, they were still booing James as loud as they were in the first couple of possessions. He wound up silencing them with his performance, but the hostile environment still left a lot to be talked about. The Pacers have been out west for the last four games, which ended in a 2-2 record. After beating the Lakers and Kings, they fell to the Jazz and Suns. They will now return home to face the Toronto Raptors on Monday night at Conseco Fieldhouse. According to Fanhouse.com, Antoine Walker is now clear to play in the NBA Development League, or D-League. He will be playing for the Idaho Stampede. Walker has averaged 17.5 points and 7.7 rebounds for his career so far after being drafted the sixth overall pick of the 1996 NBA Draft. Walker is known for his deadly three-point shooting. He helped the Miami Heat win a title back in the 2005-06 season. Walker was to join the Charlotte Bobcats, but he showed up too late due to coming to the team’s practice in September. It was a re-match of last season’s National Championship. The Duke Blue Devils were leading, 61-59, over the Butler Bulldogs. The Bulldogs were the Cinderella team entering this match-up, but the Blue Devils came out on top with their great veteran experience from coach Mike Krzyzweski. Gordon Hayward had a chance to win the game for Butler, almost making a half-court shot to win the game, but it barely missed! 25 turnovers. Wow. You can’t win a game like that with that many turnovers. The turnovers committed fueled a loss for the Indiana Pacers and a donated victory for the Phoenix Suns. Indy had the game well within their grasp, but couldn’t hold on. It was as if the Pacers were the Coyote who was winning, but would just somehow lose in the desert to the Roadrunner, which were the Suns. The Suns needed this game.
