Allen Iverson Not Ready to Play In Debut with Turkey

Allen Iverson tells the Associated Press that he will not be ready to play with the Turkish pro basketball team, the Besiktas. It will be postponed.

Iverson said he did not feel ready to play today. He instead watched his team play, as they beat the Oyak Renault in a 87-81 victory. I bet if the former NBA eleven-time All-Star had played in that game, the score could have probably been 117-81 instead!

Iverson is expected to make his Turkish debut against Hemofarm Stada on Tuesday at home.
