Foster Is Back!

AUTHOR: | IN: News, Offseason, Pacers, Popular | COMMENTS: None Yet

From Indy Cornrows: Foster joined former Pacers’ beat writer and current NBA scribe/radio host, Mark Montieth for about an hour on air yesterday morning pronouncing himself fit and headed toward being ready to play full throttle by the time training camp rolls around. Foster played in only 16 games last season before shutting it down in mid-December and then eventually having back surgery in February. It wasn’t an easy road back from surgery but Foster finally turned the corner and is now excited to join his teammates on the court again.

The Indiana Pacers Team I Want To See Next Season

AUTHOR: | IN: Offseason, Opinion, Pacers, Popular, Preview/Prediction | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

Written by Chad Smith One thing is for certain during this time of year; summer league is, well…summer league. Although it may seem far fetched at this point of the year, I can actually see the Pacers taking a nice step forward into next season. If things go how I see them, we will actually find out if the Pacers are on the road to recovery, or just playing for another lottery pick.

Short Tidbits

AUTHOR: | IN: Free Agency, News, Offseason, Pacers, Popular | COMMENTS: None Yet

Here’s a really short post. Former Pacer, Al Harrington, gets signed by the Denver Nuggets. Roy Hibbert’s knee injury is considered “minor” by the team in a report. Clark Kellogg is named VP for player relations with the Indiana Pacers. All of this sounds pretty good.

WE WANT MELO! How the Pacers Can Convince Carmelo To Come Here in 2011

AUTHOR: | IN: Free Agency, Offseason, Opinion, Pacers, Popular, Preview/Prediction | COMMENTS: 5 Comments

As an Indiana Pacers, you have to be psyched for the 2011 NBA Free Agency. We all know what has happened this year but there are also some pretty darn good free agents coming into 2011. With the likes of Tony Parker and several others coming in, the guy I am really looking forward to is someone real special. With the Denver Nuggets, you don’t want to mess with him. But, to be real about the situation, the Nuggets won’t win the NBA Finals. Just face it. And that is why this certain player will leave and could be convinced [...]

Working on a Book

I’ll be working on a book. Hopefully it will be published by Triumph Books as I am waiting for a response. It will be about the Pacers-Pistons brawl and it looks to be a fun read. So far I got eleven pages done. Anyone want to make a cover for me…lol?

Who’s the Point Guard Now?

AUTHOR: | IN: Free Agency, News, Offseason, Opinion, Pacers, Popular, Preview/Prediction | COMMENTS: None Yet

Even with Lance Stephenson and T.J. Ford most likely to play point guard this year, A.J. Price is still out and the Pacers need another guy running the point. The only guy left that good be good as being a starter for Indy is former Houston Rockets’ point guard Kyle Lowry. Lowry is most known for playing with the Memphis Grizzlies from 2006 to 2009. But when he came to the Rockets, the 24-year-old emerged a bit with 9.1 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.6 rebounds averaged per game with the team as a back-up to Aaron Brooks.

Rip a Pacer?

AUTHOR: | IN: Free Agency, News, Offseason, Opinion, Pacers, Playoffs, Popular, Preview/Prediction | COMMENTS: None Yet

You know, this could actually happen: Richard Hamilton to the Indiana Pacers. Personally, even though at his age, Richard Hamilton could be a solid addition to the team. And this can work very well. Now in order for this to work, the Pacers need to make sure they have signed Tracy McGrady or will sign him. Because he is going to be an important key and the Pacers have enough cap to bring him in. So this is how the trade will work:

Bring In T-Mac!

AUTHOR: | IN: Free Agency, Offseason, Opinion, Pacers, Playoffs, Popular, Preview/Prediction | COMMENTS: None Yet

Tracy McGrady has been looked over in this year’s free agent class and he could be signed for some small money. Should the Indiana Pacers dare try to take a chance on him? Well, it’s better than nothing if Jim O’Brien wants to save his job in order to lead this team to the playoffs. And it’s possible going to playoffs as the Pacers could rule the NBA Central division, or at least finish second there. With this, signing McGrady would be reasonable. Yes, he had a tremendous down year with the New York Knicks, averaging 8.2 points per game, [...]
