Artest Regrets
Ron Artest has certainly matured throughout the years in his time with the NBA. We’ve seen him from the Chicago Bulls, then with the Indiana Pacers, then Kings, and Rockets. Now he is with the Los Angeles Lakers, most notably coming off a buzzer-beater to beat the Phoenix Suns and help close out the series in Game Six. Now Artest is in the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics and look to receive his first ever NBA ring. But he says he wouldn’t be here after learning his lessons with the Indiana Pacers’ organizations. He just told CBS.com a few [...]
It has been reported that Amare Stoudemire will go in talks with Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, LeBron James, and Joe Johnson about the NBA Free Agency. “I’m friends with LeBron, Dwyane, Chris [Bosh] — all those guys are friends of mine,” Stoudemire said. “So I’m pretty sure they’ll call me and we’ll talk about a few things.” All of these players are talking to the press, their friends…everyone about July 1st.
On the Clock: Pacers
Lakers 111, Suns 103
Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers are really living it. They made it to the NBA Finals during the 2007 season. Sadly, they got beaten by the Boston Celtics in six games. They returned last season, this time facing the Orlando Magic. The Lakers won this one in six games. They had some good acquisitions before the season started this year, most notably Ron Artest. Artest came up big in Game Five vs. the Phoenix Suns in this series, pulling up a game-winning buzzer-beater. Kobe Bryant came up big today in Game Six of the Western Conference Finals; tallying [...]
Brandon Rush: What Needs to Improve
Written by Evan Massey I’ve been thinking about Brandon and thought about the things that I’ve seen he needs to improve on if he ever wants to become a good NBA player, and here they are.
Some Pacers 2nd-Round Draft Prospects
Written by Evan Massey I’ve been studying this and there look to be some players that we could snag in the second round that could come in and have an impact on our team off the bench, similar to what A.J. Price did last year, and I thought I would post them and see what you guys think…
Impatiently Waiting
I’m not sure when my Pacers’ fanhood started. I was eight years old when we lost in the Conference Finals to the Knicks, and I remember that series well. Regardless of when it began that series in 94 is when I fell in love. The next Christmas I got my first jersey. Number 31 in blue about 34 sizes too big. So I’ll just say I became a true Pacers fan in 1994. From 1994 to 2006 I watched the Pacers in the playoffs every year but one, and the Conference Finals 6 times. I was spoiled and I never knew [...]
It’s getting closer until we witness LeBron James’ decision of if he is staying or is he gone. But just to stir things up, here’s a possible situation that can happen. I have written something a while back about LeBron James going to the New Jersey Nets. Yes, I know that. Jay-Z could bring him in, since they are both long-time friends. Mikhail Prokhorov looks to be the next best owner in the NBA and could also lure in James. Also, the Nets do have a good, young supporting cast.

History In the Making?
The Orlando Magic made a sign to the Boston Celtics before Game Five went down last night: They aren’t giving up. And they did just that on the court, pulling out a win with a score of 113-92. Jameer Nelson came up big in the match-up, totaling up 24 points along with five rebounds and five assists for the Orlando Magic. Center Dwight Howard also played well with 21 points and ten rebounds. He also had five blocked shots.
