Did you know that Cheryl Miller, Reggie’s older sister, was on the cover of SI once? 1985! Dang! Also, Reggie has a brother who played in the MLB: Miller’s family is all about sports. And Larry Bird is the guy with the endorsements:

Pacers-Heat Recap: I Should’ve Known

AUTHOR: | IN: Game Preview, Game Recap | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

Man, the Pacers lost big on the road. Long story short: The Pacers got dominated, 113-83. Like my homies at Eight Points, let’s never speak of this never again (They also showed me that Pacer is Recap spelled backwards! That is so cool!). Let’s let my dog, if she were on steroids, take it from here: “Oh come on Pacers! Seriously? Are you kidding me? Wow! Come on guys! You are so good at, ruff, home! Why do you, BARK!, suck on the road? Tell me why! Ruff ruff ruff.” But anyways, our next matchup is against the Orlando Magic. [...]

Pacers-Heat Preview: At Home They Strike, The Road? Not So Much….

AUTHOR: | IN: Game Preview | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

Glossary Pacers: Indy Cornrows, Eight Points, Nine Seconds, Pacers Pulse, Pacers Place Heat: All U Can Heat, Peninsula is Mightier, Hot Hot Hoops, Let’s Go Heat, The Heat Blog As you can see, the “By The Numbers” chart up there is messed up a bit. Screw it. The Pacers, as you can see in the chart, are pretty close to Miami in the stats, but that’s not the case here—nor the record. This Pacers team looks mightier than ever right now. Sure, 14-26, yeah, I know—not so mighty—but look, this team has been on a roll lately. Okay, so what [...]

Pacers-Hornets Recap: Hibbert’s Performance Not Enough As Pacers Fall to Hornets, 101-96

AUTHOR: | IN: Game Recap | COMMENTS: 6 Comments

The Pacers played a good game against the New Orleans Hornets. It was a close one, but there was no cigar. The fat lady was all for New Orleans. But it was a good day for both city’s sports. One for Indiana, in which the Colts are heading into the AFC Championship and that the Pacers are still making a turnaround. They played a great game. New Orleans is coming off this win and also, the Saints destroying the Arizona Cardinals to head to the NFC Championship. It’s all going good. Roy Hibbert had a great performance with 27 points [...]

Pacers-Hornets Preview: Can Indy Keep Winning at Home?

AUTHOR: | IN: Game Preview | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

The Pacers have been looking flawless so far—especially at home. I can’t believe my eyes. They’ve beaten the Raptors at home, after a 23-point deficit, and then the Suns after a 24-point deficit. It’s just too good. And then they got their groove from behind-the-arc against the Nets last night. What kind of trick will they pull when they face the Hornets tonight? The Pacers are clearly the favorite in tonight’s matchup. And guess what?—the game will be played at home! That’s what I love. Conseco Fieldhouse has been magical in the last few games. The Pacers just can’t stop [...]

Pacers-Nets Postgame Show

AUTHOR: | IN: Pacers | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

It was a good show. We had some callers but I had to hang up some of them for Krishna. For the first 30 minutes pretty much, I recapped the game. The last 15 minutes was just a bit of ransom and weird stuff as we talked about the Pacers a bit and the Indianapolis Colts. It was a fun show. Sunday, at 11PM, I’ll be on the Celtics Late Night Show, hopefully. Well, here is the show in case you missed it:

Pacers-Nets Recap: Easy Win, Easy Everything; Pacers Hand It To Nets, 121-105

AUTHOR: | IN: Game Recap | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

How great can this get? Seriously! The Pacers are now on a three-game winning-streak! Since Granger coming back, the Pacers are 14-25. Danny Granger has also been leading the team in points in the last four games as well as Murphy leading the team in rebounds in those games. When the Pacers were trailing by about seven points in the first quarter, I was like, “Oh man. Indiana better not embarrass themselves in this.” But after that, the Pacers got their groove and scored 72 points at the end of the half. They developed a 20-point lead, 72-52 at the [...]
