Granger scored 19 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers.

The Pacers played hard against the 9-4 Cleveland Cavaliers, but couldn’t come away with the victory, falling to 5-5 and losing the game 105-95.

As I was watching the game at the end of the first quarter, it looked pretty tight, with both teams neck-in-neck at 38-38. But things started to wind down in the second quarter, with the Cavs leading by five. Then the Pacers rolled back in the third, leading 82-77.

But in the fourth, they blew it all away, with the Cavs outscoring them in the fourth 28-13.

LeBron James was on fire throughout the game, scoring 40 points with nine rebounds and seven assists. Danny Granger didn’t have a great performance, but it wasn’t that bad either, scoring 19 points with nine rebounds.

But still, it wasn’t enough for the win.

Troy Murphy had ten rebounds to lead the Pacers with the Big Z for the Cavs with eleven. Shaq missed his fourth straight game, but the Cavs still got the victory.

What the Pacers need to do is not panic and not give up. At 5-5, they don’t want to make mistakes and fall below .500. They’re only two-game losing-streak, but Indy doesn’t want that streak to expand.

They need it to end. And quick.

They face former-Pacer Stephen Jackson on the 22nd when they face the Bobcats. It’s going to be a solid game, and I hope the Pacers come out on top, going to 6-5.

This game doesn’t mean much. Just the start of the season.
