Pacers-Mavs: Things All Good for Dallas, Dunleavy Returns, Indy Falls 113-92

AUTHOR: Josh Dhani | IN: Game Recap, Pacers | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

It was not a good game at all. This was clearly the worst game I have seen by the Pacers this year as they fall to the Dallas Maverics, 113-92. The Pacers fall to a record of 6-8 as the Mavs improve to 12-4.
Danny Granger played a good game with an injury, having 20 points. Troy Murphy did not play well, having ten points with two rebounds. Mike Dunleavy was great in his return. After not playing since Feburary, he had 13 points.
The Pacers did not look good in the first and second quarter. But in the last couple of [...]

The Indiana Pacers will hosting the Mavericks.
They started out with a horrendues three-game losing streak, snapping it, and then going on a five-game win-streak. Then, the five-game win-streak got snapped and they went on to go on a four-game losing-streak, and snapping that, and now they are on a one-game win-streak.
Did you get that? Let’s hope. Yes, I know, this season has been a bit awkward as streaks of wins and losses continue. Hopefully, this streak continues. Just like the Pacers, the Mavs are also on a one-game win-streak.
Mike Dunleavy, who hasn’t played all season yet and missed [...]

Pacers-Clippers: Indy Snaps 4-Game Losing Streak, Beat L.A. 86-73

AUTHOR: Josh Dhani | IN: Pacers | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

Well there is no doubt that Troy Murphy is back in action. He led the Indiana Pacers to a victory–even without Danny Granger–beating the Clippers 86-73.
This victory snaps a four-game losing streak. The Pacers also improve to 6-7 while the Clippers fall to 6-10.
Murphy was struggling for the first three quarters, but his game began to evolve in the fourth, scoring ten of his 18 total points and the Pacers’ 31. Murphy has been battling through some injuries for the season but has been able to go back into his normal shape, in fact, maybe even better after this win.
“I’m [...]

Pacers-Raptors: Granger Scores 36, Not Enough For Win, 123-112

AUTHOR: Josh Dhani | IN: Pacers | COMMENTS: None Yet

Man, this stinks. The Pacers are currently on a four-game losing streak and fall to 5-7. Oh man oh man, they need to clean up their act now. Granger scored 36 for Indy while Jose Calderon led Toronto with 21 points.
But the Pacers defense wasn’t at their best allowing seven Raptors score double digits. SEVEN!! We face the Clippers tomorrow and we need to stand strong. Let’s hope it doesn’t end up ugly.
Come on Indy, we believe in you!
Also: Former Pacer Jarrett Jack had a good night, draining all of his shots for 21 points. Nice!

Pacers-Raptors Preview: Interview with Scott Lewis of Jurrasic Hoops

AUTHOR: Josh Dhani | IN: Pacers | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Today, we got Scott Lewis of Jurassichoops.com, a Toronto Raptors site part of Fanball.com Sports Network. Today, he is here to answer my questions for the upcoming game tonight of the Raptors and Pacers. Here we go…
Josh Dhani: Do you think Chris Bosh will stay after this season?
Scott Lewis: My instincts say no, but I think it will depend on what Dwayne Wade and to a lesser extent what Lebron James choose to do.  If Wade re-ups in Miami then that could drastically alter the market for Bosh.  If the Raptors miss the playoffs, or bow out in the first [...]

Pacers-Bobcats: Bobcats Bring It To Us, Indy Falls 104-88

AUTHOR: Josh Dhani | IN: Pacers | COMMENTS: None Yet

Okay, I really don’t want to write a full game recap because right now, I am too disappointed to even see this happen. I mean, this is just horrible. 104-88? Are you kidding me? Against the Bobcats.
Indiana better start fixing their game now. They were at 5-3 and now at 5-6. They started out at 0-3. Then 5-3. And now here we are at 5-6. Gee, then we’ll be 11-6 and do this process of losing three games and winning five in a row.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
We face the Raptors at Toronto on the 24th. Man, this sucks. Oh [...]

Bobcats-Pacers Preview: Interview with David Arnott of Rufus On Fire

AUTHOR: Josh Dhani | IN: Pacers | COMMENTS: None Yet

Hey guys, I’m back with another interview for a preview. Today, I am with David Arnott of Rufusonfire.com at SB Nation. I appreciate his time to answer my questions. Let’s do this:
Josh Dhani: How do you feel about Stephen Jackson coming to Charlotte? Also, what do you think about him facing his former team?
David Arnott: Stephen Jackson is already the best scorer on the Bobcats, but he’s no All Star, which means he’s not exactly a game-changer. If he’s comfortable and at his best, he brings us back to a 33+ win team again instead of being among the favorites [...]
