Pacers Fall to Nuggets, 128-112
Things were not very swell during the Indiana Pacers’ lost to the Denver Nuggets in a preseason game yesterday. Carmelo Anthony was literally on fire during the game as he scored a whopping 45 points over Indy’s defense. The win ties the series at one between both teams in the preseason. The Pacers now stand at 1-2 as their overall preseason record, so far. The Pacers were still playing in Asia after they played in Taiwan a couple of days before the 128-112 loss. Nene scored 21 points, Kenyon Martin had twelve, while JR Smith finished with ten. Roy Hibbert [...]
What The Hell Is Wrong With the ESPN Body Issue?
Okay, seriously, what the hell is ESPN doing with this Body Issue thing? It just seems, well, immature. This is not a way to show off athletes. Why the hell would you show naked pictures of athletes covering their body parts with trophies or their hands alone? It’s just messed up. I mean, I couldn’t even go through two pictures of the Skin Games album. I mean, seriously, are you kidding me? What if some random six-year-old, who is a sports fan (trust me, there are a lot of them out there), who goes on ESPN.com and looks at this [...]
NBA: Introducing the Starting Five of the Indiana Pacers
The NBA preseason has just started for the Indiana Pacers and many of us fans are just anxious for the regular season to start as it does in late October. So I just came across of an idea: Do any of you know the players on this young, hardcore squad? No? Yeah, I was assuming that you would say that so I’d like to introduce to you the starting five of this trusty crew. So…let’s begin. Point Guard: T.J. Ford T.J. Ford was just a monster in his debut year as a Pacers just last season when Indy acquired him for [...]
Amare Stoudemire, the star power forward on the Phoenix Suns, is forced to wear goggles for the rest of his career. Although that might not suit him throughout his time shooting hoops, he’s ready. Ready? Ready for what? He’s ready for this season. After missing most of the season last year, despite scoring 21 points and eight rebounds, he’s ready. Amare Stoudemire will be focused this season, and will be a strong competitor. Two eye surgeries, no big deal to him. Wearing goggles, he can expect worse. Injury machine, heck, that’s done for good with him. He’s reminding the league [...]

Shaq Is a Sheriff? It was reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers’ center Shaquille O’Neal met with the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Department. The press asked what was all of that about but Shaq refused to answer. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he told The News-Herald. “Undercover officers aren’t allowed to talk about what’s going on.” Now is the NBA really getting that crazy or what? First, you see him in a speedo , and now you see him dealing with the freaking police. This is just crazy, but heck, who can blame him. He’s known for doing crazy stuff. Nets [...]
Pacers Top Nuggets, 126-104
In a game in Taiwan, the Pacers topped the Denver Nuggets, 126-104. It was a great game played by the Pacers after their last game’s lost to the Chicago Bulls. Troy Murphy, Brandon Rush, and Roy Hibbert each scored 20 points for the Pacers and played well, including that dunk you see up there by the amazing Mr. Murphy! “We’re probably about 35 percent ready for the season,” Pacers coach Jim O’Brien said. “We executed tonight what we practiced.” Carmelo Anthony scored 17 points, JR Smith had 16, while newly acquired Joey Graham had 14. “Right now, we’re not playing [...]
Open Thread: Pacers Vs. Nuggets
Hey guys, I got an open thread for you all. Write your smack talk, anything you want right here by commenting below. Cuss all you want, well, not really, but still. So Nugget fans, try to make fun of Indy. And Indy fans, make the Nugget fans feel ashamed. Good luck to both teams in Taiwan!

Oden Better Off with Second Squad? It seems that the Portland Trailblazers center Joel Pryzbilla is doing much better than Greg Oden so far during training camp. But Oden isn’t happy with this conclusion and he wants to start. But it has come reported that Oden will be on the second squad for the Blazers and according to several sources, it is actually better for Oden to actually play some minutes with the second team. “Oden, who showed off some of his new offensive moves in this game, ended with 18 points and nine rebounds in just over 25 minutes,” [...]
Check Out Ocho Cinco!
David Endris of The Crown Publishing Group brought to my attention of a fascinating book called Ocho Cinco. Here’s what David says, which really wants me to buy the book: Chad Johnson’s new autobiography, “Ocho Cinco,” is about to come out and is, just like Johnson himself, never politically correct and always controversial. In his book he offers his blunt take on his life and career and on the bizarre game—and business—of football. Showing readers what really makes Ocho Cinco tick, he pulls no punches about what really goes on in the locker room, on the field, and in the [...]
