Things were not very swell during the Indiana Pacers’ lost to the Denver Nuggets in a preseason game yesterday. Carmelo Anthony was literally on fire during the game as he scored a whopping 45 points over Indy’s defense. The win ties the series at one between both teams in the preseason. The Pacers now stand at 1-2 as their overall preseason record, so far. The Pacers were still playing in Asia after they played in Taiwan a couple of days before the 128-112 loss. Amare Stoudemire, the star power forward on the Phoenix Suns, is forced to wear goggles for the rest of his career. Although that might not suit him throughout his time shooting hoops, he’s ready. Shaq Is a Sheriff? It was reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers’ center Shaquille O’Neal met with the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Department. In a game in Taiwan, the Pacers topped the Denver Nuggets, 126-104. It was a great game played by the Pacers after their last game’s lost to the Chicago Bulls. Oden Better Off with Second Squad? It seems that the Portland Trailblazers center Joel Pryzbilla is doing much better than Greg Oden so far during training camp. But Oden isn’t happy with this conclusion and he wants to start.
