Things were not very swell during the Indiana Pacers’ lost to the Denver Nuggets in a preseason game yesterday.
Carmelo Anthony was literally on fire during the game as he scored a whopping 45 points over Indy’s defense. The win ties the series at one between both teams in the preseason. The Pacers now stand at 1-2 as their overall preseason record, so far.
The Pacers were still playing in Asia after they played in Taiwan a couple of days before the 128-112 loss. Nene scored 21 points, Kenyon Martin had twelve, while JR Smith finished with ten.
Roy Hibbert improved again, scoring 21 points, with 20 of them registered from the first half of action. Meanwhile, Brandon Rush had 14 points while Troy Murphy had a decent score of eleven points during the preseason game.
The Pacers opened up their hot-shot tour in Asia with 126-104 stomping victory over Denver, now it seems the those Nugs have put revenge and did the same thing. The Pacers only led the game through the first quarter, when it ended, 33-29.
The Pacers’ next game will be this Friday against the Houston Rockets.
