The Hornets were looking to add depth to their squad and they have certainly looked like a more flourished team after this acquisition.The trade also involves New Orleans giving up their first round pick for the 2014 NBA Draft, but not to worry there, nobody is going to have to worry about that for some time. Minnesota added Songalia during draft week as they took him from the Washington Wizards. The Wolves decided to get veteran Daniels because of the decision Ricky Rubio made to stay in Spain for two more years (see AMT).
