Marquis Daniels Almost Closing In On a Deal in Boston

The swagger is still there.
Now former Indiana Pacers shooting guard Marquis Daniels has now agreed to what is about a $2M deal with the Boston Celtics, reports their city’s Herald. The Celtics were considering in doing a sign-and-trade with a third team but couldn’t find one.
It was reported by ESPN.com Insider that Daniels’ former team, the Dallas Mavericks, had interest in bringing him back to his old squad but Daniels rejected. I don’t blame him, I would rather have a championship caliber team besides a first-round exit. Also, the Pacers were considering in re-signing him but it was too late.
Daniels wanted to come back earlier, but the Pacers gave up that offer. Now it’s too late, like I said. It’s all right. What bothers me is what I am going to discuss in my next post coming right after this one here at Always Miller Time. Although Daniels is gone, there is something I’ll deeply miss about him.
